Ghana came to Brooklyn on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2021, courtesy of Jerry Kwabena Adinkra, the ambassador and executive director of the Ghanaian/African Heritage Affairs Committee; and Bed Stuy BID’s Lynette Battle. With a schedule which included a local city scene tour, visiting Weeksville in Crown Heights, and Spike Lee in Fort Greene, the day began with a breakfast meeting at Restoration Plaza, on Bed Stuy’s Fulton Street.
